Melody queens to perform together on July 30
All roads will lead to Nehru Indoor Stadium on July 30 where two melody queens of Tamil cinema will perform together for the first time. Music legends P. Susheela and S. Janaki will sing for S. Sankarram's Saadhaga Paravaigal in a show organised by T.V.K. Cultural Academy.
Both singers are recipients of several honours, including national awards. They are known for their versatility and effortless rendition of some of the greatest hits of Tamil film music.
Sunday's show will begin at 6 p.m. The stadium gates will be open from 5.30 p.m. onwards. Title sponsors for the event are `Daily Thanthi' and Aachi Masala. Vijay TV and Radio Mirchi will provide the media support.
