Chilkur panel to meet devotees on July 27

HYDERABAD: The three-member experts committee constituted to go into the Chilkur Balaji temple issue will hear views of devotees between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Dhyana Mandir, Endowments Department office at Boggulkunta on July 27.

At a press conference here on Tuesday, Convener, Temple Protection Movement, M.V. Soundararajan has appealed to devotees of Lord Venkateswara to come forward to meet the experts committee which was likely to submit its report in the second week of August.

In tune with the terms of reference, the experts were meeting people and noting their views in writing, he said, adding the committee had visited Chilkur on July 13 and interacted with the local persons there.

Prof. Soundararajan He appealed to the devotees to come forward to express their views. Devotees may visit the site www.protectchilukurubalajitemple.com and post their views. They could also write to Mr. Prasad directly.
