State asked to hold meeting with Ganesh Utsav Samiti

HYDERABAD: A Division Bench of the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday directed the Government to hold a meeting with members of Ganesh Utsav Samithi on idol immersion at Hussain Sagar and report back to it by July 31.

The Bench wanted to know the steps taken by the Government to bring down pollution level especially during immersion of Ganesh idols.

Encroachments

The Division Bench also directed the authorities to see that encroachments in the public parks were removed forth with.
