New Delhi: There was heightened acrimony between the Ambani brothers on Tuesday as they argued over implementation of the settlement they reached a year ago to divide the Reliance empire. The latest round started with younger sibling Anil Ambani's group alleging that Mukesh's group was "guilty of systematically violating" every major commitment made in the settlement - a charge denied by the camp. Charging Mr. Mukesh's group with nursing the intention to dishonour the June 2005 agreement on Gas Supply to Reliance Energy at agreed prices, Mr. Anil's group said the other side was also manipulating the media to spread misinformation on Government of India approvals for the gas supply agreement. Reacting sharply to the charges, a spokesman of RIL, headed by Mr. Mukesh Ambani, said the "current set of issues raised by ADAG are an attempt to divert attention away from the shockingly petty acts of harassment of RIL employees at DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City). "If ADAG has any grievance, it should approach the appropriate forum for resolution."
