Workshop on coir export

KOCHI: The Coir Board, in association with Exim Bank of India, will organise a national workshop on `expanding coir export business horizons' in Alappuzha on August 11. Coir Board Chairman A.C. Jose will preside over the inaugural meeting. Anupam Das Gupta, Secretary, Ministry of SSI, will inaugurate the workshop. Christy Fernandez, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; T.C. Venkata Subramanian, CMD, Exim Bank of India; and P. Aravindakshan, CGM of RBI, will be among the speakers.

Trade representatives from Holland will make a presentation on business opportunities in their country. The Director, Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, will highlight the emerging markets in Australia.
