`Lakshadweep not a haven for terrorists'

KOCHI: Lakshadweep will not support any terrorist activity against the country, U.C.K. Thangal, Lakshadweep District Panchayat president and chief councillor, said here on Tuesday.

Reacting to reports that Lakshadweep was turning into a safe haven for terrorists, Mr. Thangal said the people in the islands had been deeply insulted over such remarks.
