C-Dit invites applications for Mainframe course

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-Dit), a State Government institution, has invited applications from students wishing to join its courses in IBM Mainframe and AS/400.

Candidates should have passed B.Tech or MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology with a minimum of 60 per cent marks. They should have also obtained 60 per cent or more marks in SSLC and Plus Two, C-Dit said in a press release on Tuesday.

The courses are for four months. Admissions will be based on the candidate's academic record and performance in an entrance test, scheduled to be conducted here on August 12.

For taking the entrance test, a candidate should send a DD for Rs.250 in favour of `Registrar, C-Dit, Thiruvananthapuram' to the address `Head, TED, C-Dit, Thiruvananthapuram - 695027' and then register his or her name online on the website www.escubeindia.com
