IT returns can be filed at post offices

BANGALORE: Designated post offices in Bangalore and other parts of the State will accept income tax returns from July 26, according to a press release e from the Chief Post Master General, Karnataka Circle.

The post offices that will accept IT returns in the city are: Bangalore GPO, Raj Bhavan Road; HAL II Stage, NDK Kalyan Mantap Road; R.T. Nagar, 80 Feet Main Road; Rajajinagar, 12th Main, II Block; City Market Complex; Basavanagudi, K.R. Road; Jayanagar, 11th Main, IV `T'Block; Wilson Garden, Mariswamappa Road, 10th Cross; C.V. Raman Nagar, DRDO Shopping Complex; Doorvaninagar, ITI Complex; Jalahalli, Gangamma Circle Road; New Thippasandra, BEML Main Road; Museum Road; Yelahanka, Bangalore-Bellary Road; Basaveshwaranagar, Siddaiah Puranik Road, Vijayanagar, 18th Cross, M.C. Layout; Malleswaram, East Park Road. For filing returns in other parts of the State, divisional superintendents of post offices at district headquarters may be contacted, the press release added.
