Passports despatched

Passports in respect of applications submitted at BangaloreOne centres up to June 24 have been despatched on July 24 wherever the applications were in order and clear police reports were received. Irrespective of whether passports forms are submitted at Regional Passport Centre or BangaloreOne centres, the time taken to issue passports will be the same. All applicants are advised to submit applications for passports at BangaloreOne centres. For details, call 25584536, 25584543.

Bag making

Rural Development and Self Employment Training Institute (RUDSETI) is conducting a free month-long residential training programme on rexine bag manufacturing in August. Gandhian classes

Gandhi Peace Foundation has invited applications from educational institutions for the annual Gandhian classes that will start from August 15. Every student will have to pay an entry fee of Rs. 10. NLSIU conference

National Law School of India University (NLSIU) will hold its annual conference on Technology and Law on its premises in Nagarabhavi from July 26. This year's conference titled "Consilience 2006" focusses on Free/Open Source Software (FOSS) and seeks to influence a Government policy in this connection.
