Joshi remains in lead

NEW DELHI: G.B. Joshi of Indian Airlines remained the sole leader with 6.5 points after drawing with Hemant Sharma in the seventh round of the Delhi Chess Foundation rating chess tournament at the Bapu Samaj Sewa Kendra here on Wednesday.

The results (seventh round): G.B. Joshi (6.5) drew with Hemant Sharma (6); K.B.L. Srivastava (6) drew with Vinay Raj Bhat (5.5); V.S. Negi (6) bt Deergh Raj Joshi (5); Sandeep Chitkara (5.5) drew with Rajesh Kumar (5.5); Brijesh Mishra (6) bt Karun Duggal (5); K. Krishnamoorthy (5) lost to T.S. Pradeep (6); Prince Bajaj (5) lost to Saket Kumar (6); Jhujhar Singh (5) drew with P.K. Pant (5); Narender Singh (4.5) lost to Jaideep Sharma (5.5); Pallavi Dutta (5.5) bt N.S. Raman (4.5).
