Victim of exploitation

Ramesh Susarla

GUNTUR: For 32-year-old Kalva Rajitha, it was sexual exploitation by her own brother that forced her to leave her parents' house along with her younger sister Radha.

Waiting for her sister's body to be identified at Guntur General Hospital mortuary, Radha, a teacher, said it was sexual exploitation by their brother that forced them to leave home in 1998 and learn karate. Their father Krishnaiah blamed his son and daughters for the present situation. "A few months ago, when Rajitha came home, I begged her not to get involved in extremist activities. "I even touched her feet and she assured me that she was not associated with the movement and was working in the city," said Krishnaiah, crying inconsolably.
