Textile export parks to be set up: Minister

JAIPUR: Rajasthan Industries Minister Narpat Singh Rajvi has announced establishment of special textile export parks in Chittaurgarh and Jodhpur to provide direct facilities to manufacturers and traders in the textile sector.

Addressing a conference of stakeholders in the textile sector in Delhi on Tuesday, Mr. Rajvi pointed out that Rajasthan occupied first rank in the manufacturing of polyester suitings by fabricating 45-crore metres annually.

He said Rajasthan also had a 40 per cent share in the export of synthetic yarn.
