Preparations for polls

Kakinada : East Godavari Collector M Subrahmanyam said on Wednesday that 11,905 presiding officers and 18,403 polling personnel were being deployed for the panchayat polls to be held in three phases in the district. He said 12,514 ballot boxes were allotted for the polls. 1151 boxes for Rampachodavaram division, 2376 boxes for Peddapuram division, 2283 Kakinada, 2801 for Rajahmundry division are allotted.
