KARIMNAGAR: With the arrangements being made for the funeral of the slain Maoist State secretary, Madhav alias Burra Chinnanna, in his native Mangapeta village of Kalwa Srirampur mandal on Thursday, the district police tightened security in the entire district by deploying additional forces. Sensing retaliation from naxalites, the police have launched search operations in sensitive villages of Manthani division.
They have completely surrounded Mangapet and adjoining villages to avoid any untoward incident.
