Charity musical programme in aid of streetchildren

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Council of Human Welfare (HCHW), Andhra Pradesh, is organising a charity musical programme - `Dum Rhythm' - on July 29 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Basheerbagh, to support streetchildren.

Chhandam -The Rhythm, consisting of 10 groups, will be singing songs from Amitabh Bachchan's films. Donor passes of Rs. 200, 300, 500 are available at Music World.

150 children

Addressing media persons on Wednesday, HCHW Director Mohammed Rafiuddin said the organisation was taking care of 150 children under its rehabilitation programme. He said that the organisation had also started a project last month in association with the Indian Labour Organisation (ILO) and the district administration to rescue child labourers. Since then, it has rescued 560 children, he said.
