Scribes in the city are on their toes ever since the news of Sabarimala Tantri Kandararu Mohanararu broke out. With the investigating officers not divulging any information regarding the progress of the investigation, rumours are flying. On Wednesday, mediapersons swarmed the Police Club after news spread that the six accused in the case would be brought there for interrogation. The presence of Arun Kumar Sinha, Inspector General of Police, South Zone, lent credence to this rumour. However, the scribes were disappointed when the IG refused to meet them and the investigating officer came out to say that no one had been arrested in this connection. In a couple of hours, the High Court junction was filled with not just mediapersons, but members of the public as well who had gathered to have a glimpse of the accused.
