One killed in grenade attack

Jammu: A woman was killed and six persons were injured in a grenade attack in Doda district on Wednesday.

Police sources said the house of a surrendered militant, Shabbir Ahmed, in the Misri area of Doda district was targeted. The woman was identified as Sakeena Bano.

Shabbir Ahmed was a former member of the Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and the outfit was believed to be behind the attack.
