MANGALORE: Sri Krishna Yaksha Sabha, Kadri, will organise a "Yakshagana sapthaha'' here from July 30 to August 5, according to its founder president K. Anantharama Rao. He said in a release that seven main Yakshagana episodes would be staged from Sunday to Saturday. Yakshagana artistes such as Balipa Narayana Bhagavatha, Venkatesh Rao Jalavalli, Nellikatte Narayana Hasyagara, Manjeshwar Janardhana Jogi, Kumble Sridhar Rao, Palli Srinivasa Hegde and Peruvodi Narayana Bhat would be felicitated on the occasion. The entry is free for viewers. The shows will be organised from 5.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. each day at the town hall. The sabha has been organising the "sapthaha'' for the past five years. It has been giving equal importance to "badgu thittu'' and "tenku thittu'' styles.
