Jail for rape

JAIPUR:
A fast track court in Ajmer on Thursday sentenced the 22-year-old owner of a guesthouse in Pushkar, a popular tourist destination in Rajasthan, to seven years' rigorous imprisonment for raping a Japanese woman during her visit to the town in April this year.
The mother and brother of the convict, Babloo, were also sentenced to three years' imprisonment for assisting in the crime and fined Rs. 2,000 each. The court imposed a fine of Rs. 5,000 on Babloo, while acquitting another brother of Babloo and his friend in the case.
