Calsoft subsidiary to control Japanese firm

CHENNAI: CSWL Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of California Software, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to acquire a minimum of 66 per cent equity in Codex Co. Ltd, Tokyo (Codex). The MoU will culminate in a final share purchase agreement subject to standard closing conditions, necessary approvals and completion of all formalities. The entire process should be completed by the end of August, said S. Santhosh, Managing Director and CEO, Calsoft, in a release. Codex is a Japanese company that focused on providing information technology based solutions to leading commodity trading companies in Japan.
