Protest against hike in fuel prices

Kasaragod: Members of the Bharatiya Masdoor Sangh (BMS), Kerala State Private Bus, Motor and Engineering Workers Federation and Motor Transport Workers Association (MTWA) took out a march to the taluk office in protest against the rising prices of petroleum products. Their demands included withdrawal of tax on petrol and diesel, permit subsidies for taxis and reinstate the welfare fund that has been suspended.
