RUN-DOWN: The bus that met with an accident on the National Highway near Kottiyam on Firday. It was on its way to Chakulathukavu from Kaliyakkavila.
KOLLAM: Fifty persons were injured when a KSRTC fast passenger bus met with an accident on the National Highway at Kottiyam near here early on Friday morning. Four among those injured are serious and have been admitted to Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The rest were admitted to District Hospital here and some of them were discharged after first aid. The bus that was hit by a tipper lorry hit an electric post and fell on its side. The bus was on its way from Kaliyakkavila to Chakulathukavu. Most of those injured were on pilgrimage to the Chakulathukavu temple.
