Bangalore: Jayanagar Sports Club (JSC) and Beagles topped the league and emerged champions in the boys and girls sections respectively of the State youth basketball championship that concluded at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Friday evening. K.N. Shanth Kumar, Director, The Printers (Mysore), and former International basketball player R. Rajan graced the investiture function. The results (league): Boys: JSC 54 (Sujan 21) bt Beagles 50 (Girish 21, Irfan 9, Rakesh 8), ft: 48-48, ht: 23-25; Pinakini Gowribidanur 33 (Srinath 15, Rakesh 10) bt Viveknagar SC 32 (Ajmal 13, Santosh 10), ht: 19-19. Girls: Beagles 42 (Sandhya 12, Sophia 12) bt Viveknagar SC 26 (Sindhu 13), ht: 22-9; Mounts Club 33 (Roshni 12) bt IBBC 23 (Ramya 8).
