Government to help Wayanad farmers

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan has offered to take all possible steps to solve the crisis affecting the agricultural sector of Wayanad.

The Chief Minister who gave this assurance during talks with the leaders of the Wayanad Farmers Action Council today questioned the contention that he had ruled out the writing off of loans.

He said that it was being made without understanding the matters correctly.
