DINDIGUL: Transport officials seized 15 autorickshaws in a surprise raid here on Thursday. Nine were seized for having liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) connection without a valid permit. The officials removed the gas kit and destroyed them. Two were seized for not having a valid permit and the rest for other violations. Officials said permit and licence of vehicles using LPG cylinders meant for domestic purpose would be cancelled. Cars using LPG would be seized and produced in the court. School buses should carry only the prescribed number of students.
