Modi lists achievements

CHENNAI: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Friday showcased his State to a gathering of Chennai-based Gujarati community, highlighting his Government's achievements in the last five years.

Addressing a meeting organised here by Shri Gujarati Mandali, Mr. Modi said interlinking of rivers was achieved by creating a grid of 18 rivers. Reconstruction of the quake-hit regions was completed in less time than forecast by the World Bank.

Cost-effective agriculture was being promoted. A programme of soil health was under implementation.
