Under-15 teams named

VIJAYAWADA: D. Prashanth of Anantapur and Prem Sagar of Nellore will lead the ACA South Zone u-15 teams to participate in the inter-zone tournament to be held at Visakhapatnam from July 30, ACA South Zone secretary V. Uma Maheswar announced here on Friday.

The teams:

SZ 1: D. Prashanth (capt.), Khaja Fakruddin, Kishore Kumar Reddy, G. Naresh Kumar, S.M. Basha, R. Ravi Teja, C. Bhanu Teja Reddy, K. Imtiyaz.

S. Irfan Basha, R. Naik, Md. Ghouse, N.S. Vinil Kumar, V.N.S. Praneeth, Md. Wasim, A. Amarnath Reddy.

Kurnool cricket

Trials to select the Kurnool U-13 cricket team would be held at the District Sports Authority grounds at Kurnool on July 30, KDCA secretary Ramesh announced on Friday.

District badminton team

The 10-member Krishna District badminton team will take part in the AP junior State tournament for boys and girls to be held at Ravulapalem (East Godavari) from August 1 to 4, said KDBA secretary Ankamma Choudary in Vijayawada on Friday.
