Maoists bandh on July 31

Staff Reporter

Police flayed for disinformation campaign

HYDERABAD: The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has given a call for a Statewide bandh on July 31 to condemn the Nallamala encounter and pay homage to the State Committee secretary Madhav and seven other party workers who were killed.

Maoist spokesperson Janardhan and central committee representative Azad in a release said on Friday that the committee paid tributes to the leaders who had laid down their lives fighting the oppressive feudal system. While sharing the grief of the families of `martyrs', it issued a warning to the police and political leaders that they would have to pay a price for the brutal killing of the Maoists.
