Special Correspondent
HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy has categorically denied reports suggesting that the Congress high command was using him to topple the Government headed by H. D. Kumaraswamy in Karnataka. Responding to a question about reports to this effect in a section of the media, Dr. Reddy said the very suggestion that AICC president Sonia Gandhi would ever contemplate such a move was "uncharitable and cheap." Neither was Ms. Sonia Gandhi interested in doing so nor did she ever try to use him for the hatchet job, he said at a press conference here on Friday. Further, he said, he would only welcome an inquiry into the land dealings, if any, of his son Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy in Karnataka.
