Software engineer robbed

BANGALORE:
Three men robbed a software engineer of Rs. 200 in cash, a mobile phone and debit cards at knifepoint in Airport police station limits on Thursday.
The police said that around 10.30 p.m. Rajesh Kumar came out of a hotel near Jeevanbimanagar-Murugespalya junction after having dinner. While he was answering nature's call near the hotel, three men, who came on a motorcycle, threatened him with a knife and robbed him. On a complaint by Kumar, a resident of 6th Phase, J.P. Nagar, the Airport police registered a case.
Purse stolen
Two men diverted the attention of a woman and took away her purse containing Rs. 150 in cash and a mobile phone in Indiranagar police station limits on Friday.
