KARIMNAGAR: Enraged over the reported killing of a youth by two persons in Malapalli village of Husnabad mandal, villagers ransacked the houses of the accused persons on Friday. According to police sources, the deceased, S. Mahender, a degree student, reportedly developed intimacy with a minor girl in the village. Irked over this, the girl's father, B. Rajaiah, along with one Komuraiah of the same village, allegedly killed the youth and dumped his body in an open well two days ago. The boy's parents registered a missing case at the police station. During the police inquiry, it was found that the youth was allegedly murdered. On knowing this, the villagers,ransacked the houses of the accused and set fire to the furniture.
Ryot dies in accident
In a freak mishap, a farmer, P. Mahesh, (23), was killed when the tractor he was driving overturned in his agricultural fields in Kalwacherla village.
