ISO certification for GRDAM

Coimbatore: G. R. Damodaran Academy of Management has received ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality, following an independent audit conducted by TUV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore.

In a release here, D. Padmanaban, Chairman, Board of Management and Correspondent of the institution, said that GRDAM had signed up for certification in January this year and had gone through a pre-audit in May and a certification audit in June.

International business

He observed that present-day business schools needed to be responsive not only to the changing context of international business but also to the growing needs and opportunities of the society, which could be made possible only through holistic, value-based and practice-oriented management education that stressed entrepreneurship and emerging areas.
