GRIPPING PLOT: Shriya Reddy, Sarvanand in `Amma Cheppindi.'
Amma Cheppindi (Telugu) Cast: Sarvanand, Shriya Reddy, Suhasini Director: Gangaraju Gunnam Gangaraju Gunnam, who gave hits like `Little Soldiers' and `Aithe' has come out with another film dealing with "ISI-sponsored terrorism." Though not a big entertainer, it keeps the audience glued to their seats with a power-packed screenplay and good direction. The story revolves around Bose (Sarvanand). Though he is a 20-year-old, he behaves like an eight-year-old child due to an underdeveloped brain. His father (Pavan Malhotra) is a space scientist and mother Saraswati (Suhasini) dotes on Bose. As Bose cannot focus on academics, he takes up a job in the space centre's mess. An ISI agent Mohit (Nagababu) exploits the childlike Bose and uses him to transport a powerful RDX bomb into the space centre. Meanwhile, Razia (Shriya Reddy), a music teacher at the centre's school, happens to befriend Bose. She is actually an Intelligence Bureau agent under cover. ISI plans to target an August 15 meeting of top scientists of India. Will the IB agents track the bomb? Does Bose pay heed to his mother's word (Amma mata) ? The rest of the story unveils answers to these questions.
