Extortion: one arrested

Thiruvananthapuram: The rural police have arrested a 27-year-old youth on the charge of extorting money from traders and autorickshaw drivers in the Kazhakuttam area. Circle Inspector, Kazhakuttam, Muhammad Iqbal, identified the accused as Zulfikar, 27.

He was produced before the court and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody.
