Bangladesh admitted to ARF

DHAKA: Bangladesh became the 26th member of the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) on Friday with the country being officially granted membership at the inaugural session of the forum's 13th ministerial meeting in Kuala Lumpur. The forum now comprises t10 ASEAN member states, 10 ASEAN dialogue partners and one ASEAN observer. Bangladesh Foreign Minister M. Morshed Khan, who is leading the Bangladesh delegation to the ARF meeting, expressed his appreciation to all the members for their support.
