SHIMLA: The Himachal Pradesh BJP has decided to hold state-wide protests against the price rise and inability of the government to check the same. The BJP State chief, Suresh Bhardwaj, told media persons here on Sunday said his party cadres would block roads including the national highways for at least three hours on Tuesday. He has given a call to all transporters and bus operators to support the "chakka jam". Mr. Bhardwaj said the Virbhadra Singh Government was openly supporting the corrupt and tainted officials in the State. Even after the Court verdict against the Himachal University, the State Government was not taking any action against the Vice-Chancellor and the Controller of the Examination. He has alleged a new scam in the State Co-operative Bank exams and the controversial role of the Chairman and his son of the State School Education Board.
