Bahrain deaths: Eight from Cuddalore, two from Villupuram

CUDDALORE: Of those Indians, who perished in a fire in Bahrain on Sunday, 11 persons were from Cuddalore and Villupuram districts.

The police sources said of the deceased six were from Sirupakkam and two from Veppur in Cuddalore districts (names yet to be ascertained), and, two from Koothakudi — K. Kannadasan (23) and S. Senthilkumar (21) — and one from Varanjaram — Subramani — in Villupuram district.

Construction workers

All of them were construction workers and died when a fire broke out in a two-storied building where they were accommodated.
