Valuables taken away from house

BANGALORE: A gang of persons broke open the doors of a house and decamped with valuables worth Rs. 80,000 in RT Nagar Police Station limits on Saturday.

According to the police, the incident occurred at the house of Ananthacharya, a music teacher, at P & T Colony when he had gone to teach music at a school in Girinagar.

Motorcycle-borne men snatched a gold chain worth Rs. 70,000 from a woman in Jnana Bharathi Police Station limits on Saturday.

The police said the incident occurred when Premalatha was on her way home after buying vegetables at Papareddypalya around 7.30 p.m. Jnana Bharathi Police have registered a case.
