Dharmapuri: The District Administration has displayed the list of Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in all panchayat offices to provide information to the public. In a statement issued here on Monday, the Collector, M. Chandrasekaran, said the list would be kept on display till August 10. People who have any objections in the list, including addition of their names, can apply with the concerned Block Development Officer (village panchayat). The BDO would scrutinise the applications and finalise the list before August 12. The new list would be placed before the gram sabha on August 15 for approval. The new list will be published in the panchayats after approval of the gram sabha. The Collector has asked the people to verify the list of BPL families and to apply with the BDO concerned for any objection in the list.
