Sun TV revenue up

CHENNAI: Sun TV has achieved a total income of Rs. 99.04 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, against Rs. 74.68 crore in the corresponding period in 2005-06. According to a company release, it has achieved a profit after tax of Rs. 42.23 crore against Rs. 27.79 crore, after providing for interest, depreciation and taxation. During the quarter the company completed the initial public offer of 68.89 lakh equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 865 per share.
