KAVALI: Susita of Orissa shocked fifth seed Rasika Sankpal of Maharashtra 6-4, 7-6(5) in the girls first round of the Visvodaya Institute of Technology and Science-AITA Super Series U-16 tournament on Monday.
In the boys' section, third seed Chandril Sood prevailed over a much taller and powerfully built Chandam Shaolin 6-1, 0-6, 6-4. Earlier, D.
