HDVA referees' board
K. Veeraswamy was elected Chairman of the referees board of the Hyderabad District Volleyball Association here on Monday. The panel was elected for a period of four years. The other office-bearers are as follows: Convenor: M.B. Narsimloo; Members: Syed Attar Raza; M. Mohan Rao, T. Pradeep Raj and C. Prakash.
Ice-skater for Europe
K. Stephen Paul, runner-up in the National (under-19) ice skating championship recently, will be representing India in the International events in Switzerland and Belgium next week, according to a press release. He will be competing in five events and will be accompanied by his coach Abbas Lasania.
Inter-district judo
The Andhra Pradesh Judo Association will organise a sub-junior inter-district championship for boys and girls (10 to 12 years and 12 to 14 years) at Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad Stadium in Guntur from August 11 to 13.
