Hyderabad: Nikhat Banu bagged three titles and Subham Sharma bagged a double as the 20th St.Pauls High School's annual A.P. state ranking table tennis tournament concluded here on Monday.

Boys:

Cadets: Final: Gautham Krishna bt Sk Feroz 11-4, 9-11, 11-7, 7-11, 11-6. Semifinals: Sk. Feroz bt D. Sai Kumar 12-14, 8-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6; Gautham Krishna bt C.V. Srikar 10-12, 11-3, 11-9, 14-12.

Easy for HPS (B)

Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet branch, swamped St. Patricks High School 44-27 in a Group A match of the 4th Dr. Emily Emanuel inter-schools basketball tournament here on Monday.

HDVA referees' board

K. Veeraswamy was elected Chairman of the referees board of the Hyderabad District Volleyball Association here on Monday. The panel was elected for a period of four years.

The other office-bearers are as follows: Convenor: M.B. Narsimloo; Members: Syed Attar Raza; M. Mohan Rao, T. Pradeep Raj and C. Prakash.

Ice-skater for Europe

K. Stephen Paul, runner-up in the National (under-19) ice skating championship recently, will be representing India in the International events in Switzerland and Belgium next week, according to a press release. He will be competing in five events and will be accompanied by his coach Abbas Lasania.

Inter-district judo

The Andhra Pradesh Judo Association will organise a sub-junior inter-district championship for boys and girls (10 to 12 years and 12 to 14 years) at Dr. Kodela Siva Prasad Stadium in Guntur from August 11 to 13.
