G.S. Chandi at the helm

Chennai: Gurvinder Singh Chandi of Punjab and Sind Bank will lead the Indian hockey team for the four-nation tournament to be held at Singapore from August 3 to 6. Besides India, Malaysia, Pakistan and Singapore are taking part in the tournament.

Indian men will take on Singapore on August 3, while the women's team comes to grip with Malaysia on August 4.

The team: Goalkeepers: Mirnal Choubay (SAI), S. Vivek (Kerala). Full-backs: Palwinder Singh, (Air India Academy), Harjit Singh (PS Bank), Ranjeet Singh (Delhi). Half-backs: G. Singh (Air India Academy), B. Ganesh (TN), Vikramanjit Singh (PS Bank), Guruwinder Singh (Namdhari), Siddarth Pandey (Mumbai), Vikas Choudhry (Haryana), G.S. Chandi (captain), Daler Singh (PS Bank), Dharamvir Singh (Chandigarh), Alden D'Souza (Mumbai), Danish Mujtaba (UP), Chinglensana Singh (Manipur), Gopikrishnan (TN).
