AIADMK leader anguished over absence of specific measures

Pondicherry: The secretary of the Pondicherry unit of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), A. Anbalagan, has charged the Congress Government here with having "failed to project any specific measures" in the budget presented by Chief Minister N. Rangasamy in the Assembly on Monday to collect the sales tax dues from various sectors.

Reacting to the budget in a statement, Mr. Anbalagan said that there was no projection of any specific scheme to establish non-polluting and job intensive industries.
