CHANDIGARH: In a major police reshuffle, 29 Punjab Police Service (PPS) officers were transferred with immediate effect by the State Government. Paramdeep Singh Sandhu, SP/Computer has been transferred as SP Special Wing, Chandigarh in place of S K Singh who takes over as SP Chief Minister's Security replacing Surinderpal Singh Parmar, an official spokesman said.
Vacant post
Sukhminder Singh Mann, Assistant Commissioner (AC) first Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) has been made AC 9th Punjab Armed Police (PAP) Amritsar against a vacant post among some of the important transfers effected.
