Pune season from Aug. 5

Pune: "The Pune racing season 2006 which is scheduled to begin on August 5 will have excitement this year" said Dr. Cyrus S. Poonawalla, chairman, RWITC on Tuesday.

He also said that almost every weekend this season would have a sponsored race day. There will be significantly improved facilities for members, the racing public and the sponsors. In addition, the Poonawallas would contribute about Rs. 15 lakhs for infrastructure improvement.
