Women, Child Development Secretary

NEW DELHI: Deepa Jain Singh on Tuesday took over as Secretary, Women and Child Development.

An IAS officer of the Haryana cadre (1971 batch), she succeeds Reva Nayyar, who relinquished the office on superannuating.

Before joining the Women and Child Development Ministry, Ms. Singh was secretary in the National Minorities Commission. She has worked in various key departments and Ministries in the Central Government and Haryana.
