Additional charge for Health Secretary

Pondicherry : The Lt. Governor of Pondicherry, Mukut Mithi, issued an order on Tuesday assigning the Department of Women and Child Development to the Health and Welfare Secretary of Pondicherry, T. M. Balakrishnan. He would hold this department in addition to the charges already held by him, according to a release from the Under-Secretary to the Government, V. Kannabiran. Consequently the Secretary to the Education Department, B. V. Selvaraj, has been relieved of the charge of the Women and Child Development Department, the release added.
