MphasiS BFL Q1 net drops

BANGALORE: The net profit of MphasiS BFL declined by 29.7 per cent during the first quarter of the current fiscal to Rs. 10.65 crore from Rs. 15.16 crore a year earlier as the company's margins were hit by salary hikes to employees. However, the company said that its total income rose 28.4 per cent during the April-June quarter to Rs. 111.37 crore from Rs. 86.76 crore a year ago. The group posted a consolidated net profit of Rs. 15.16 crore as compared to Rs. 33.70 crore.
