Dental awareness classes inaugurated

KOLLAM: Mayor N. Padmalochanan inaugurated the dental health awareness classes for primary schools at a function held at the Town Upper Primary School here on Tuesday. The classes are being organised by the Kollam branch of the Indian Dental Association. President of the branch Shibu Rajagopal said that more than 30,000 students in the district will stand to benefit from the programme. — Staff Reporter.

Educational awards to be presented on Saturday

KOLLAM: The Educational Awards 2006 of the Punalur Merchants Chamber will be presented to the winners at a function at Punalur on August 5. The awards are for those students who had registered outstanding performance in the SSLC and CBSE examinations held this year, president of the chamber, S. Management meet

KOZHIKODE: Calicut University Department of Commerce and Management and the Management Science Association will jointly conduct the tenth South India Management Meet, "Ascent'06" on August 5 and 5.
